The Whale Of A Time Suite is adorable! The designer series paper is very pretty with lots of under the sea designs and little creatures showing up on some of them (like the little crab on the card below). For my turtle card I added some die-cut seaweed from the Sailing Home dies. They add a little more dimension to the card. My second card features the whale stamp and matching Whale Builder Punch along with some sequins.
These cards was created during my Facebook live. The video is below if you missed watching it. Join me this Thursday at 7pm for my next live!

These 2 pictures are from December 2004. I found them while going through my 19+ year photo pile. The Playful Pets designer series paper was sitting on my desk waiting for me to create projects for Crop Kingston's September Virtual Crop. It was perfect to use on this layout! There are matching trinkets that I've ordered to add to this page. The Playful Pets Trinkets are hearts and bones little embellishments that I think will work really well with this page. I'm excited to add them to this layout and use them on the samples for the crop classes. If you are interested in our September crop registration will open within the next 2 weeks.
I just had to use the Nothing's Better Than stamp set for last month's team mailed swap! It was a toss up between using the chocolates stamp or the cookies stamp but the cookies won. The first card (above) I'm sharing today is the version that I mailed out to those that participated in the swap. I stamped the cookies onto Crumb Cake cardstock then used a Sponge Dauber with Crumb Cake ink to shade in the whole card front.
My second card is a stepped up version of my swap card! I've used the Love You More Than dies to cut out the cookies and pop them up onto Stampin' Dimensionals. Also added some Champagne Rhinestones that were coloured with a Soft Suede Stampin' Blend to make them darker and look more like chocolate chips! Part of the sentiment was also changed out - instead of Cookies being stamped it was die cut with Basic Black cardstock instead.

Saturday July 11th was Crop Kingston's Whale of A Virtual Crop. We used the Whale Of A Time designer series paper along with the Whale Done stamp and punch bundle to create our projects. There is a private Facebook group that all participants have access to where Lisa and I share both the cards and scrapbook pages we have created.
Love these turtles!! There is a turtle stamp in the Whale Done stamp set but these pretty turtles are fussy cut from a sheet of the Whale Of A Time designer series paper. The big green turtle makes me smile as he is looking right at us!
During the event we both go live to share how to assemble our projects and usually share alternative ideas using the same pieces from our original projects to provide some other ideas to use the designer series paper. My second card is a landscape version of the original because those turtles are adorable! On this card I stamped Pacific Point ink onto the DSP instead of Night of Navy in my first card. It creates a different look.
Hope you can join us for our next crop on Sat Aug 8th! Choose from our Card To Go Kit, Scrapbook To Go Kit or Virtual Crop Access Pass! Each option includes a PDF of the card & scrapbook projects along with access to our exclusive Facebook group where we will share live videos, additional ideas using the products and more! The Card and Scrapbook Kits To Go include cardstock, embellishments and product needed to create the projects. Registration closes July 21st. Registration closes today Jul 21, sign up below:

Hello and welcome to July's Pretty Cards & Paper blog hop! This month we are using the Flowers For Every Season Designer series paper on our projects. This paper pack has flower images and designs that can be used for every season and it uses the 2020-2022 In Colours.
One of the sheets is a bunch of these beautiful Bumblebee roses. They are gorgeous flowers and makes the card easier to put together. The background flowers are actually partial flowers from the edge of the sheet. I was able to cut 3 full flowers out of one 6" x 6" sheet so you could create 3 cards from one sheet if you wanted to. The sentiment is from the Here's A Card stamp set.

Welcome to July's Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop! This month our theme challenge is Monochromatic. I found some pictures of my sister-in-law's wedding flowers that needed to be scrapbooked and her colours were white and yellow daisies.
Welcome to July's Colour Combo Blog Hop! This month the colours are Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight and Sahara Sand. A fun combo!
I love the textures in the Tasteful Touches stamp set. There is lots of detail with the images and this stamp set has some great sentiments as well. The hello is part of a larger sentiment that I inked up using a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. I had a hard time trying to put Highland Heather onto this card but a little bit of it showing under the sentiment was perfect!

A quick and easy card using the Seaside Notions stamp set and a piece of the pretty In Good Taste designer series paper. I stamped the seahorse using Blackberry Bliss ink and then fussy cut it. The Happy Birthday was stamped in Early Espresso and punched using the Tailored Tag punch. To get the roughed edge on the Early Espresso cardstock I used my scissors, the non-cutting edge, to rough up the edge.

The Forever Greenery designer series paper has some lovely designs and features so many greens! The first card is created with Just Jade and Garden Green whereas the second card uses Pear Pizzazz and Shaded Spruce. So many different colour combos you can create with!

Hello! This is my first time participating in the Monthly International Blog Highlights. I'm excited to share with you my card created using the theme of thank you.
Looking through my stamp sets and choosing the right one for this project was a hard choice! But I had the new Whale of A Time designer series paper (DSP) open on my desk and the Seaside Notions stamp set is a great alternative to use with it instead of the Whale Done stamp set. Paired along with the stamp set and DSP is the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The colours are pulled from the DSP - Pretty Peacock and Granny Apple Green. To finish the card I added some of the Whale of A Time Sequins and a trimmed piece of Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Trim.
If you have a moment please vote for my card and check out all the other great projects! Click here to vote.

Welcome to the Global Stamping Friends July Blog Hop! This month we are using the new 2020-2022 In Colours for our projects. The new colours are: Cinnamon Cider, Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee, Magenta Madness and Just Jade.
Some quick and easy cards! There are 4 sayings in the Tasteful Touches stamp set so one is duplicated since there are 5 colours. The strips of designer series paper are from the Flowers for Every Season 6"x6" designer series paper and I went thru the pack to select coordinating designs to match each of the colours. These cards were created for my June Online Workshop that is going on until tomorrow. If you live in Canada please join the Monthly Workshop Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/266053647891781/.
Just Jade is my favourite colour of them all but Bumblebee is a close second! What about you? What colour do you like the most or the least?
