Well Suited Note

Back in November Stampin' Up! had a fun 80's themed virtual OnStage event. There were live and recorded stamping presentations, new product to win, so many ideas shared, the opportunity to connect online with other demonstrators and seeing Shelli (Co-founder) and Sara (CEO) stamp together - they are hilarious! Today's card is one I created for a swap. A swap is where you exchange your card for someone's else card. At in person events we walk around during breaks and swap or we mail them to participants for virtual events. Another fun demonstrator event is a big free training my upline along with a few other demonstrators provide. There are videos sharing stamping inspiration and ideas. Then an option to sign up for swaps! 

 

How you can create this card: The poppy seed pod was stamped in Cajun Craze ink then the seeds were stamped with Smoky Slate ink. Die cut the oval with the Stitched Shapes dies and the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine. Cut a piece of the diamond pattern from the Well Suited designer series paper to 4" x 5.25" and glue to the card base. Cut a 1.5" x 5" strip from the grid pattern of the same pack of DSP and a strip of the striped design to 0.5" x 5". Glue these together and then cut a diagonal on the left side. Stamp the greeting with Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto the grid design. Assemble the card and finish with some Black Matte dots.
