We held our first Mini Virtual Crop this past Saturday. We used the 2020-2022 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper and the Tasteful Textures bundle to create our projects. This layout was one of my designs. The pictures are of my husband from 2000 when we went camping with my family. I still need to figure out what I'm going to write for journaling (this is the hardest part of scrapbooking for me).
Shoebox Swap Card
June 23, 2020
in card, Designer Series Paper
Last week my upline Lisa held a team virtual shoebox swap on Zoom. It was fun! I designed the above card for everyone to make. Usually we would cut cardstock for everyone to create the cards in person but with this virtual event we were able to pre-cut our own supplies. This meant that if you didn't have the same cardstock or designerseries paper the cards turned out differently. It was great to see everyone's completed cards and create new designs!
My second card was one I created during the event. I switched the card base to Pear Pizazz and chose a different piece of designer series paper.

Pretty Cards and Paper Blog Hop - In Good Taste
June 19, 2020
in Blog Hop, card, Designer Series Paper, die cutting, Pretty Cards & Paper, Stampin' Cut & Emboss
Welcome to the Pretty Cards and Paper Blog Hop. I've been asked to join these talented International Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in a monthly blog hop focusing on the beautiful designer series paper that is available in the our catalogue. This month we are showcasing the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. Make sure to check out
all the blogs in the hop for ideas using this months featured
DSP, you'll find a list of them after my project.
The In Good Taste designer series paper has 24 double-sided designs that are wood, tile and textile based designs in 12"x12" format. Check out the picture below for all the different designs available in this pack. With such a variety it was hard to pick ones I wanted to use on my card! My eye was drawn to the white stucco design and the dark woven pattern design. To create my card I used coordinating product from the In Good Taste Suite - the Tasteful Touches stamp set, Tasteful Labels Dies and the In Good Taste Elements. Over the white stucco DSP piece the leaves were stamped with Gray Granite ink. The greeting is part of the sentiment "Just Saying Hello". The best way to select part of a stamp is to use a Stampin' Write Marker, I used Basic Black. This way you can colour in the section of the stamp you want. The final touches on the card were the Very Vanilla Lace Trim, the wood element leaves and a few Pearls.

Crop Kingston Mini Virtual Crop
June 18, 2020
in Crop Kingston, Designer Series Paper, die cutting, Stampin' Cut & Emboss
Today I'm sharing one of the cards we will be making this coming Saturday (June 20th) during Crop Kingston's Mini Virtual Crop. We are featuring the 2020-2022 In Colour 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper for our projects. Earlier today we uploaded the PDF of all the projects we've designed so that you can assemble your items needed to create along with us. If you purchased either the Cards To Go or the Scrapbook To Go kits we have contacted you to arrange pick-up. Our Virtual Crop is from 9am to 1pm. Both Lisa and myself will be going live to share how to create the projects or create alternatives using the same pieces that were included in any of the Kits To Go. All of our projects also use the Tasteful Touches Bundle, this bundle includes a stamp set and a label die set. I hope you can join us to see what our Virtual Crops are like! The link is below to join our group.

More Than Chocolate
June 16, 2020
in Designer Series Paper, die cutting, Facebook Live, Punches, Stampin' Cut & Emboss, Videos
On my first few times through the new catalogue I completely overlooked this stamp set! Then just before placing my first order after the catalogue went live I slowly looked through the catalogue one last time to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything. That's when I discovered this stamp set. But I missed the inset picture showing the bundle! Good thing I kept looking through the catalogue all the way to the end! In the die cutting section I discovered the matching Love You More dies and you would've laughed at how delighted I was at this discovery! lol
This
card was created during my Facebook live last week. The video is below if you
missed watching it. Join me this Thursday at 7pm for my next live!
